Day Sixteen: My Ideal Person

There are certain things that I wish I had. Not really objects or possession type things, but more like characteristics or personality type things. I love who I am as a person, don't get me wrong. There are just things I see about other people that make me think, "hm...I wish I could have/be more like that." Fortunately, a lot of these things are attainable for me If I actually do want them, I can get them if I put my mind to it. This is what my "ideal" person, or my "ideal" life would look like...

  • Vegan
  • "Hipster"
  • Tea person
  • Long, flowing, voluptuous locks of hair
  • Beach/California girl
  • Able to long board
  • Crafty (primarily with knitting, crocheting, quiliting, and pottery)
  • Bohemian
  • Know weird, unnecessary facts
  • Knowledge about and passion for astronomy and space
  • Outdoorsy
  • Nature person (hiking, mountain climbing, cliff jumping, etc.)
  • Serious bicyclist
  • Singer
  • "Off-the-wall"
  • Animal lover and volunteer at animal shelters and humane societies
  • Passionate
  • Yoga enthusiast
  • All natural
  • Globe-trotter
  • Evangelize-r
  • Be genuine and kind to everyone
  • Non-judgmental in every way
  • Person that gets Starbucks every morning and looks cute walking around with their Starbucks cup in hand, the employees know your order and name, and have your drink started when you get there
  • Starbucks employee
  • "Alternative"
  • Hat-person
  •  Volkswagen van owner
  • European backpacker
Those are just some of my desires for myself. Some of them I already am, but I'd like them to be intensified. I plan to accomplish all of these things, or give them a try and see how I like them (the lifestyle things, I mean). These prospect of me being these things is really exciting to me. When I see people with these qualities, I often wish that I had those aspects of their lives. Even though I wish I had these attributes, I'm still happy with the way I am. Well, everything except the whole "food" and "eating disorder" and "obsessing over my meal plan" thing. But that's okay because I don't define myself by those terms anymore (at least I'm trying not to). Ultimately, I know that I can't define myself by those attributes, or any of the attributes that I wish I had. I know that I am "fearfully and wonderfully made" by God, and I don't need to change for myself, any one else, or more importantly, God. I just really want to be able to live on the beach...and have dogs everywhere...and road trip across the country...and be able to make myself a sweater...and have stamps overflowing in my passport...
